FAQ for C-Series: Missing Users and Peripherals Options in the Oncam Camera Configuration Tool

Issue Description

  • The Users and Peripherals options are not visible in the left-hand menu of the Oncam Camera Configuration Tool.
  • You cannot access user management or peripheral settings.

Cause

The issue occurs when the application or browser window is zoomed in too far, hiding parts of the left-hand menu.

Resolution

Option 1: Using a USB Mouse (Camera Configuration Tool or Browser)

  1. Connect a USB mouse to your laptop.
  2. Press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard.
  3. While holding Ctrl, scroll down with the mouse scroll wheel until the Users and Peripherals options become visible in the left-hand menu.

Option 2: Without a USB Mouse (Web Browser)

If you do not have a USB mouse, open the camera UI from a web browser and reduce the zoom level using one of the following methods:

 

Method A: Keyboard Shortcut

  1. Press and hold the Ctrl key.
  2. Tap the minus [-] key a few times until the Users and Peripherals options appear in the left-hand menu.

 

Method B: Browser Settings Menu

  1. Click the Settings (three dots or gear icon) in the top-right corner of your browser.
  2. Locate the Zoom option.
  3. Click the minus [-] icon until the Users and Peripherals options appear in the left-hand menu.
